Hello, my name is

Lanre Malumi

I like taking ideas that are still a little rough and shaping them into something people can actually use. Sometimes that's figuring out the flow and designing the interface. Sometimes it's getting into the code and making sure the thing actually works the way it was meant to.

Most of my work sits between product design and web development. I design in Figma, build with Laravel, Blade, Tailwind and PostgreSQL, and bring in Vue (and others) when a project needs more complex frontend behaviour. Most of that work has been CRUD-heavy, building out the core flows a product actually runs on, often via APIs I build and connect to the frontend myself.

Working across both sides means I care about the small things most people skip. I'm not interested in throwing together generic screens and calling it done; if I'm working on something, I want it to feel intentional.

That's also why accessibility isn't something I add near the end. It's part of how I think about a product from the start, because the decisions that make it easy happen early, not once you're already deep into build.
